Examples of Motion Graphic Videos That Use Shape Morphs
I've been very impressed by a lot of the creative use of morphs in the motion design videos I've been seeing lately. This seems to be a popular new trend and it is one I can get behind -- a lot more elegant than a few years ago when every video seemed to have paint splatters in one form or another. 3 Timeless 'Principles of Animation' That Will Add Life to Your AE Projects
On my coffee table lays a book I keep coming back to called The Illusion of Life: Disney Animation. Pragmatic and full of examples, The Illusion of Life
reveals the discoveries and techniques of early Disney animators and has appropriately been called the "bible of animation."This weekend I did a practice exercises in After Effects to experiment with some of the principles outlined in the book and it served as an important reminder of how following a few simple guidelines can make a movement in an animation more engaging and professional.
